Five Days To Freedom. Sounds intriguing doesn’t it.  When you say it, all sorts of images come to mind.  Freedom from oppression,  freedom from prison, freedom from slavery.  The word “Freedom” is usually used to express a positive result, or the hope of a positive result.  That result being the release or escape from a negative situation, one in which you are held captive, generally against your will.

Five Days To Freedom. What better name then for a product that promises to release you from slavery and free you from the oppressive prison cell you call a cubicle – a JOB.  I like it.  The name works.

Now let’s see if the program delivers on it’s promise.

I’ve recently made the plunge into Affiliate Marketing.  As most of you know I’ve been making my living as a freelance writer creating products for other people.  My name doesn’t go on those products, nor do I get a share of the profits.  I get maybe a couple hundred bucks out of each book and the people I write them for then go on to sell them to you.  And sometimes they set up affiliate programs and let other people sell them, too.  So the owner of the book, and his affiliates, all make tons of money off of a product that I actually created.

Doesn’t quite seem fair but it’s the deal I make and so far it’s kept a roof over my head and dog food in Boo’s bowl.

But the only way I make money is if I sit down at this desk everyday and WORK.  Yes, it’s better than getting up with an alarm clock at 2AM everyday and heading out to the bakery where I had to punch a time clock everyday, deal with rude, arrogant customers and even ruder, more arrogant bosses.  But it’s still work.

I want that dream job that so many other Internet Marketers have.  I want to be able to get up from this desk for a day and head to the beach whenever I want to or even take a cruise.  I live in a port city and two hours away is another one and I’ve never even seen a cruise ship from the shore yet let alone set foot on one.

So I decided about 2 months ago that I’d jump into this Affiliate Marketing Game myself and see what all the fuss is about.  It’s a great concept.  You set up a site, drive traffic to it, get them all to click your button, and then let the advertiser take over and make the sale.  Eventually, if you have enough sites, the right mix of products, and you’ve done your part, you CAN go sit on the beach while you’re sites, and the advertiser’s sites, do all the work.

And while I’ve had some small successes I’m still a Newbie at this game and I’m having trouble getting past that stupid requirement that Clickbank has that says you have to have received payments with 5 different credit cards before they’ll start sending you checks every two weeks.  I’m slowly getting the sales, and the dollars are starting to add up, but everyone is using Paypal so Clickbank won’t pay me.

I know it’s not far off and all I need to do is keep making sales and eventually it will happen.  But you know me – I want it now.  And you probably do, too.  And of course I’d like to grow those sales and get them to where they’re a little more consistent.  Right now I’ll go for 5 or 6 days without a sale and that’s not going to get me on that cruise ship.

So I’ve enlisted a little help.

According to Mike, who put together the Five Days To Freedom System, if I just follow his directions five days a week for 30 days, I’ll start making good, steady affiliate income.  Since today is March 1, I’m kicking it off today with this blog post and you’ll see a post every day for 30 days.

‘Nuff said for now – I have to get back to WORK.  But if you’d like to follow along, or you’d just like to make some of that steady, recurring income like the big guys, too, here’s the link for Five Days To Freedom. Click Here!
