It was like the shot heard round the web yesterday – “The Warrior Forum is down! The Warrior Forum is down!” Ppffffftttt! By the time I heard about it, it was 8:30 PM so I went to check it out. It was running very slow, but I managed to get into one thread. I can’t get back into it right now or I’d copy and paste it exactly but the one thread I managed to get into went something like this:
Warrior 1: Having trouble getting onto the forum today? Is anyone else experiencing trouble?
Warrior 2: Me, too. Probably the most productive day I’ve ever had.

Welcome, Everybody!
I had almost decided I wasn’t going to do this post today. In fact, I’m having a difficult time even thinking about this Battledome right now. Let me explain what’s going on here on my desk right now.

If you’ve been following The Arrogant Alchemist’s battle in the WSO Battledome, then you know we’ve been talking about Membership sites – what they are, how to build them, how to market them, the pros and the cons. And we’ve also been testing out a Wordpress Plug in that let’s you build a membership site right on your Wordpress Blog. So easy – even Beamer could do it!
The creator of the Micro-Membership plug-in, Mr. Ralph Pruitt, guest posted here at the ‘Dome, and he gave us some really great information about the philosophy behind a successful membership site.
He also gave us an AWESOME PRICE with some extras thrown in to make it an even sweeter deal! Here’s a quote from his post: Read the rest of this entry

Welcome, Everybody!
As you all know, we’ve been talking about Membership Sites here and how to use PLR products as a foundation on which to build your membership site. And it seems to be a pretty hot topic of conversation, both here at The ‘Dome and on the Warrior Forum as well. We all have different topics that we watch for on the Forum and one of mine is PLR. I like to buy it, I like to use it, and I like to see what other people are doing with it.
A lot of the WSOs I’m seeing tell you to take a PLR product, like an ebook that tells you how to create a blog, and break that ebook down into bite size pieces and drip feed those pieces out, over a period of time, to the members who have joined your site. And that’s all well and good. That’s how I learned blogging. Way back when, I joined The Niche Blogger membership site. And that’s what The Arrogant Alchemist is selling with HIS WSO.

Some of you may know that I’ve written “The Top 10 Reasons Why You Should Start A Membership Site”, and the ebook “Start a Membership Site in 24 Hours!”. I’m also the crazy programmer who created the Micro-Membership WordPress plugin – the same software that Donna is using do demolish the abominable Alchemist.
So, why would would I tell you NOT to create a “membership site” – especially when this BattleDome challenge is all about membership sites? It could be:
- because I’m crazy – a conclusion that most folks who know me came to some time ago.
- because I’m misleading you – nope. I’m being straight-up with you… honest!
- because I don’t really mean what you think I mean.

Good Morning, Warriors!
Let me make on thing perfectly clear – The Battledome will always be FREE FRONT ROW SEATING FOR EVERYONE! You may have seen the comments on yesterday’s Battle, and that’s one of the things I was afraid of with this Challenge. Yes, I am showing you how to set up a Membership Site. But it is NOT for the Battledome. Rest assured, ladies and gentlemen, you will never be asked to pay admission to enter the ‘Dome! Read the rest of this entry
